Information you provide
When you join Field Notes, we collect your email address and, if you choose to provide it, your first name. Do not submit children’s records, licensing documents, Social Security numbers, health information, or other sensitive information through the newsletter form.
Information stored on your device
The sample checklist stores its marked items in your browser’s local storage so your progress remains after a refresh. That information stays in your browser and can be removed by resetting the sample or clearing site data.
How information is used
We use submitted information to deliver the newsletter, manage subscriptions, protect the site from abuse, and understand whether the service is working. We do not sell personal information.
Service providers
Vercel hosts the website and may process routine technical logs. Beehiiv processes newsletter subscriptions and email delivery. Their own privacy terms also apply when they process information for these services.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe using the link in any newsletter. You can also clear the sample checklist data through your browser. For a privacy request, use the current method listed on our Contact page.
Children’s privacy
This site is for adult child-care operators and prospective operators. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date above will show the latest revision.
